 Leonardo Rossel - A tribute by his teacher!


Life is indeed made up of significant events which shape our future and outstanding people who influence our life.

Leonardo's nature and behavior towards his friends and people around him makes him very much intimate to all. In his short life, Leonardo was instrumental in helping us to realize that even though life is short and temporary it can be enjoyed if you take life positive in spite of all the setbacks . The events that happened in his life were earth shattering - an individual taken to the extreme pain and difficulty but lived a life to its fullness with all hope and positive nature till the last moment of his life, quite different from many of us.

People remember Leonardo because he showed us the way to put together the broken life from the utter state of despair and move forward in building a successful career with the same courage and enthusiasm he had before his accident rather than destroying it or complaining about it to others. He led a positive life through out his life time and never wanted to be a dependent on others for his survival. His positive energy made all who comes in contact with him to be positive and happy. He could even speak about his accident with a  positive frame of mind. He used to joke with me in our classes, " The accident has made me to be matured in my life to twenty years older and now I have the wisdom of a fifty year old." We used to laugh on so many wide issues and joke about it. Laughter was a part of all what he talked and did. His innocence is equivalent to a small child and he is one of the few who could laugh very innocently. He used to regret only about that fateful moment on which he had jumped into the pool with out thinking twice what he was doing. He had done such great things that we can do it in our whole life time. He was a connoisseur of all things related to computers and programing.

He was the ultimate socialite and he enjoyed the company of friends and loved ones always. He was so caring about every one and was always concerned about others happiness. Words and space are not enough to describe Leonardo as a person. He was so nice and good to so many people. His works with CPM Braxis was a dream come true for him but he wanted to travel and work in the office rather than many of us who like working from home more than office. Leonardo as a person who I know online was totally a different personality - one of the rarest.
